The Independent (2 March 2007) cites Inspiris in an SABMiller article

The Independent today published an article (“SABMiller brews up a partnership with African farmers”) profiling the brewery’s decision to invest an additional $7.5m (£3.8m) in Uganda. 

SABMiller’s Eagle Lager has emerged as the second largest pan-African brand, while benefiting over 10,000 small scale farmers in Uganda and Zambia who supply the sorghum from which it is brewed. The new investment will allow the Ugandan brewery to cope with increased demand.

Inspiris Director, Zahid Torres-Rahman is cited in the article: Eagle Lager demonstrates "that business can have a large, positive impact on poverty reduction by doing good business. This sort of responsible business model is far more impactful, sustainable and scalable than pure philanthropy could ever be," he said.
